Call out for volunteers for Leith Festival Gala Day on Saturday 8th June 2024 on Leith Links!
We need a team of 40 volunteers in total, to set up, run the day, then close down. It’s a long day from 7am to 7pm but volunteers can choose their shifts from 2 to 7 hours.
It’s a very interesting day with many different volunteer roles so even a small corporate team would make a huge difference for our year round small team of existing volunteer organisers.
Volunteer tasks include stewarding, traffic management, assist stall holders, litter picking, moving chairs etc. Also, volunteers for the Information Tent from 10am till 5pm, answering queries, directing to stalls, security and first aid communications.
Stage Runners from 12 till 5pm: communications across 3 stages between performers and the event coordinator.
