Summer programme volunteer – activity sessions

We are looking for a confident person who could help deliver 4 (or more) sports or activity sessions for us during the school summer holidays.

Who we are looking for:

  • An enthusiastic, confident person and ability to take the lead on delivering the session.
  • Age 17+.
  • Very reliable.
  • Is currently engaged in sporting activities recreationally or through school, college, university or work and would like to get young children involved in their chosen sport or activity.
  • Has or is working towards a qualification in sports, health, fitness, social care, working with children or any other relevant qualification – desirable.
  • Has experience running group session for children/has coaching experience – you would be accompanied by a qualified, experienced family support worker at all times.
  • Has a great sense of humour and can engage children, play and have a good time!
  • Can be available for 4 (or more) pre-arranged sessions (Mon-Fri) between 1st July and 9th August – days and dates are flexible.
