Volunteer at our Child Vaccination Clinics The child and infant immunisation team are looking for volunteers to support their flu vaccination clinics for children aged 0-5 in Midlothian. Volunteers will welcome children and families to the clinics and put them at ease by offering distractions e.g., games, stories, chat. Volunteers will also support staff to keep the area tidy. Clinics will begin in September and tend to run until the end of November/early December. Clinics will take place in Penicuik, Danderhall, Loanhead, Newbattle and Gorebridge libraries, Woodburn Miners Club and Ikea and usually take place on Wednesday’s, Thursday’s or Friday’s..

Columcille Columcille is a day support service for adults with learning disabilities based in Morningside, Edinburgh and provides workshops in music, drama, art, dance, crafts, woodwork, printing, keep fit, pottery, café and gardening. We also offer therapies in rhythmic massage, music therapy and movement therapy. We are open Monday to Friday 9.00 – 4.00 (3.00pm Wednesday). We are looking for people (18 +) to join our volunteer team as cycle co-leaders on our weekly wellbeing cycle group. Volunteers will assist in leading groups with a range of abilities on 90 minute social rides once a week. Planned routes will be around the local area, largely on cycleways and cycle paths.
