About the role:

Managing the receipting of all incoming goods into stores and other stock control duties, specifically utilising in-house computer systems for all aspects of inventory control.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the goods in and despatch process and ensure all paperwork and system transactions are completed on time.
  • Check all deliveries to ensure products are not damaged and report any discrepancies.
  • Manage stock by following stock put away process adhering to FIFO rules.
  • Ensure the safe storage and identification of materials to ensure materials are fit for purpose at point of use.
  • All goods in issues must be reviewed and resolved daily in discussion with your Line Manager.
  • Action daily cycle counts and assist the Product Configuration & Logistics Manager with the month end processes.

Provide cover where necessary to the Shipping function of VITEC LTD as below:

  • Check all sales orders that have been released for processing can be actioned, ie stock available, delivery address, courier etc. report any discrepancies immediately to customer operations.
  • Organise customer couriers to uplift sales orders based on customer requirements.
  • Prioritise the sequence that sales orders must be actioned to meet individual courier cut off times.
  • Ensure all material movements are transacted in the ERP system real time.
  • Assist in configuration when requested.
