Summer Job – In the Hospitality Industry
We are introducing a summer job opportunity for students, especially those with an interest in hospitality (although not limited to!). We are interested in employing two students, ideally a couple or friends, to join our team at the Kilberry Inn for the summer season.
By way of background, we are an award-winning restaurant with rooms situated in a quaint hamlet on the west coast, roughly a 2.5-hour drive or bus ride from Glasgow. Recently under new ownership, we are currently finalising our team for the upcoming season and are looking for two more individuals to join us. What sets our establishment apart is our commitment to quality and our decision to serve a limited number of guests (we only have 5 lodging rooms). We are recognised in the Michelin Guide and have some exciting plans to significantly grow the business in the upcoming season. We are offering the chance to gain practical experience in all aspects of a hospitality business — kitchen, bar, restaurant, reception, marketing, guest interactions and so on — alongside a close-knit team of colleagues with experience from top-tier establishments.
We are offering an attractive hourly wage, weekly working hours that provide time off every day and are also providing comfortable accommodation in a private holiday lodge located within the local estate. This opportunity is particularly suited to those with a love for the outdoors, providing time to explore the stunning west coast environment that surrounds us during time off. The start date is as soon as possible and the position would run until they need to return to other commitments, or October (whichever is soonest). All in all, a great chance to gain experience in the hospitality sector and to earn some money all the while enjoying a summer in a beautiful location.
