Job Description

 

Food Services Assistant 

Part-Time; Term Time Only; Permanent Position
 

 

We are looking for a suitably experienced and enthusiastic Food Services Assistant to join our Hospitality and Catering team, providing a full range of catering services for the Heriot’s Community including pupils, staff, governors and visitors.

 

 

 

Hours of Work:    Monday to Friday: 8am-2.30pm (30 hours per week)
 

 

We welcome applications from interested candidates with the following skills and experience:

 

 

 

  • Previous experience of working as a Barista in a busy environment is required

  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is required

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment

  • Willingness to undertake training in line with the department/School requirements

  • A polite manner and a calm and professional attitude

Salary Information:   £12,696 per annum (£9.50 per hour)
