You already know who we are.

The red and white stripes. The flavour-filled energy. The walls lined with stories and unforgettable moments.

Since 1965, TGI Fridays has been more than a restaurant – it’s been a celebration of flavour, fun, and flair. We created the Long Island Iced Tea. We launched the world’s love for Loaded Potato Skins. We don’t just serve food – we create theatre with every plate.

Now, we’re searching for a Kitchen Manager to lead the performance behind the scenes.

Your Role: Ringleader of Backstage Magic

As Kitchen Manager, you are the director of kitchen excellence.

You’ll lead and motivate a talented brigade of chefs, manage operations with skill and precision, and ensure every plate is served with pride, purpose, and perfection.

This is more than management – it’s leadership, mentorship, and operational mastery all rolled into one. You’ll set the rhythm, drive the standards, and create an environment where your team and your kitchen can shine.

Your Mission

  • Lead, train, and inspire your kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality dishes
  • Ensure operational excellence across food, hygiene, guest satisfaction, and team performance
  • Build a positive, inclusive kitchen culture that celebrates growth, recognition, and opportunity
  • Host daily team huddles to energise and align your crew
  • Maintain stock levels, manage margins, and control costs with accuracy
  • Drive performance across sales, safety, and brand standards
  • Uphold the highest health, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times
  • Support the wider management team with innovation, leadership, and forward-thinking strategy

You’ve Got the Leading Role If You Have…

  • Previous experience in a kitchen management or leadership role
  • Confidence in leading a team, communicating clearly, and solving challenges
  • Knowledge of food safety, kitchen operations, and inventory control
  • Passion for quality, detail, and delivering memorable guest experiences
  • Willingness to complete our in-house management training and development programme
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends – when the action is live and the pace is high

Your Backstage Perks

  • Guaranteed 48-hour contract
  • Annual performance-based bonus scheme
  • Enhanced pension scheme and optional private medical insurance
  • Access to the Aspire Leadership Programme and exclusive leadership events
  • Structured development pathways and apprenticeship opportunities
  • 50% discount on food for you and up to five guests
  • Performance recognition and staff incentives
  • Generous refer-a-friend scheme
  • Wagestream access for real-time pay management
  • Membership with Hospitality Action for wellbeing and support
  • Long service awards and team celebrations
