Margarot Forrest Care Management Ltd is a family-owned and managed care at home company which provides quality care to the people of Scotland. Our carers are required to provide a high level of personal care to our clients in line with regulatory and customer requirements. We have been providing quality care to the people of Scotland for 26 years. We understand that the quality of our staff is crucial to the quality of service we deliver.
Work Environment:
Working as part of a small team and visiting clients’ homes, our carers are required to provide a high level of personal care to our clients in line with regulatory and customer requirements. Our friendly office staff are there to support carers every day. Full time hours are 42 per week. Part time hours are 22.75 per week.
What might a day in this job look like?
- Helping with getting up and going to bed
- Bathing, showering, hair washing, oral hygiene, skincare, toileting, catheter care
- Food preparation
- Medication prompting
- Moving and handling equipment
- Recording and reporting.
What will I learn?
All our carers have access to excellent in-house training, e-learning and external training including SVQ Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care, extended dementia care. In addition, we offer:

What Qualifications / Qualities are required?
We are looking for energetic, dedicated people who would like to join our team and make a positive difference to someone’s life. We do not require any qualifications in care as we have excellent induction training and development programmes for each employee. Successful applicants are required to be SSSC and PVG registered as the role will involve delivering personal care of an intimate nature. As care will be delivered at home, a full clean driving licence is desirable, but not essential.
