Job Title: Care Worker (SVQ in Social Care Students Welcome)

Location: Edinburgh, Midlothian and surrounding areas

Salary: Up to £12-£21 per hour (Depending on role)

As part of our commitment to nurturing talent and providing valuable experience, we are offering an exciting opportunity for individuals currently undertaking their SVQ in Social Care at college to gain practical experience in the field, along with offering free training modules.

Role Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are currently studying towards their SVQ in Social Care and are eager to gain hands-on experience in social care. Due to the nature of the services we support, we are looking to hire care staff with a minimum 1 year care within the UK.

You will have the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, working alongside experienced professionals to provide care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist service users with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation and household chores
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to service users, promoting independence and wellbeing
  • Assist with medication administration and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans
  • Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, under the guidance of senior staff members
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided and any relevant observations or incidents

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in Care qualification at college
  • Min 1 years paid care experience in the UK Benefits:
