Role: Care Professional at Home Instead
Social Side Gig is a jobs agency for students, offering student-friendly jobs with social purpose.
We are delighted to offer Edinburgh College students a number of flexible part-time roles with Home Instead, the world’s leading provider of care and companionship services for older people.
These student-friendly roles come with the option of working full-time over summer and part-time when university starts back up.
Salary
£12 – £13 per hour.

Job Description
We are looking for kind, compassionate & supportive students to join our team in Edinburgh, who want to make a real difference to the quality of life for our clients by helping with Personal Care, Home Help and Companionship.
As a Care Professional, you will provide a variety of services to help clients remain independent in their own homes, and doing the things they enjoy.
You do not need any experience or qualifications to become a Care Professional, although any experience, including caring for a family member or volunteering would be an advantage, but not essential.
You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service, be reliable, trustworthy and enjoy building professional friendships and be comfortable spending time in the company of others.
Qualifications
No qualifications required, full training given.
