Job Detail
Job Description

We promote social inclusion for people with a learning disability and autism spectrum disorder in Scotland.

We are currently looking to recruit volunteers for the following roles:

Community Event Volunteer

Social Events

Regular activity-based events with a focus on socialising with other people. These events allow focus people to try new hobbies, increase their confidence, and make friends.

Would suit someone who is sociable and friendly, and who wants to volunteer on a flexible basis.

Volunteer Befriender

Befriending

We carefully match a focus person with a friend through our Befriending scheme. Together they can attend clubs, activities, or events to make social connections in their local community.

Would suit someone who is good at building relationships, is patient, and has good listening skills.
