Job Description

Friendly, enthusiastic Street Team Members wanted for Edinburgh Fringe!

Suzanna Rosenthal Productions presents theatre, comedy, musicals, circus shows and everything in between at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, in London, around the UK and also overseas. Our portfolio of productions and promotions past and present includes the 2016 Olivier Award-winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, 2018 Olivier Award-nominated The B*easts, Fringe First-winning Comala, Comala plus The Ice Hole: A Cardboard Comedy, Cruel Intentions: The ‘90s Musical, Cirque Berserk!, Cirkopolis and many, many more!

This summer we will be presenting 10+ shows at the Fringe and we are looking for dynamic, outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic, conscientious and reliable people who really love the arts to be a part of our flyering team.

The flyering team is a key element of all of our shows’ marketing campaigns and every year we look to put together a group of people who are keen to work hard and take on the challenge of building audiences for all of our productions.

The 2025 Fringe runs from 30th July – 25th August, and we are looking for people who are available from 28th July and ideally available to work the full run.

Ideally you will have good knowledge of the Edinburgh area and have either been to or worked at the Edinburgh Fringe before, however this is not a deal breaker. Some form of sales or customer service experience is also desirable. We are looking for candidates who are keen and confident in talking to members of the general public about all of our amazing shows!
The role requires the individual to be positioned in various areas across Edinburgh, handing out flyers and talking to the public, primarily outdoors. Shifts can involve moving around multiple locations each day.

This is a great chance to see behind the scenes of the festival, meet people, and gain an insight into the arts industry, as well as experience the Fringe itself. As part of our street team, you will see all of our shows (so that you can confidently talk about them to potential audiences), meet the artists, and wherever possible receive passes to see additional shows for free in your spare time. Our producing team is also available to offer advice on getting into the theatre industry, producing and/or presenting work.
Further information, including how to apply, on following page

Dates: 28th July – 25th August 2025
Hours: The hours will be variable across the festival but we anticipate an average 4-8 hours per day. You may be scheduled for shifts for multiple days in a row, but we will rotate time/days off amongst the team throughout the festival. Please advise in your application if there are specific dates or times that you will be unavailable so that we can plan accordingly.
Please note that this role requires working shifts on any day of the week (including weekends and bank holidays) and may entail both daytime and evening shifts. No shifts will start earlier than 9am or finish later than 11pm.
Rate: £13 per hour, freelance rate
Location: You’ll need to be based either in Edinburgh or nearby/commutable or able to arrange your own accommodation, as this cannot be provided. Please note that we are unable to cover travel expenses.
