Sessional Youth Worker – Craigmillar
Rate of Pay – £12.89 per hour
Average weekly hours 4/5
Closing date is FRIDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER 2019
We are seeking a sessional youth worker for 9 months to work with children and young people in a variety of settings, (including youth centres and other venues) developing and implementing high quality youth work services.
You will work as part of a small team of staff and volunteers, delivering a varied youth work programme appropriate for young people in our local community.
We are looking for someone who can work creatively, and with initiative, in terms of face to face youth work also supporting/developing a quality youth work programme.
Our 2 Drop In groups run from Sandy’s Community Centre, Craigmillar.
Hours are 5pm to 9pm on a Wednesday Evening.
Monthly Focus Group, various workshops, outings are also part of the youth activity programme.
It is an essential requirement that the post holder MUST undergo PVG scheme membership.
