St Teresa’s Youth Club – Craigmillar – Edinburgh Sessional Youth Work Organiser
We are seeking an experienced youth worker who can work creatively, and with initiative, in terms of face to face youth work, supporting small staff team to deliver youth work programme, and also support the development of our fundraising and volunteer development programme.
Our 2 Drop In groups run from Sandy’s Community Centre, Craigmillar.
Hours are 5pm to 9pm and the groups run mainly on a Wednesday Evening.
Sessional Youth Work Organiser Required: 5 Hours per week @ £15.74 per hour.
Thanks to ‘Children In Need’ funding, St Teresa’s Youth Club are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Youth Work Organiser to develop the services for young people in a youth group environment.
To work with children and young people in a variety of settings, (including youth centres and other venues) developing and implementing high quality services. To manage and maintain overall services including record keeping, staffing, rotas and budgets. The post holder will also be responsible for developing and implementing up to date policies and procedures in-line with current legislation and employment law.
It is an essential requirement that the post holder MUST undergo PVG scheme membership.
