Overview
As a Sales Trainee with Taylor Maxwell & Co Ltd, you will learn the sales process end-to-end, build relationships and shadow our experienced team. You will have the opportunity to attend customer sites alongside our Sales Team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure that the sample room/showroom is tidy, organised, ‘up to date’ and stocked
- Develop and lead the city centre showroom visits and visitors.
- Work alongside the yard manager with enquiries and holiday cover
- Respond promptly to tender enquires in conjunction with relevant salesperson
- Prepare and send out quotes to customers as requested to agreed deadlines
- Order and deliver samples as and when required
- Source information for the external team
- Provide updated information for the website, monitoring specific projects for ‘case study’ status
- Be proactive in organising databases for mailshots and supporting company marketing activities
Essential
- Driving license
- Good ability in Microsoft Packages
- Confident and determined approach
- Adapt your communication style
- Possess a target driven mindset
- High degree of self-motivation

- Experience within a customer facing role
