Job Description
Office and Communications Administrator
£23,375
35 hours per week
The post is funded for an initial fixed term for one year – continuation dependent on
securing additional funding.
Administrative base in Dalkeith. Travel throughout Midlothian and East Lothian
including operating from other venues, may be required.
Working as part of busy Core Team, the post holder will offer administrative and
fundraising support to MYPAS management and service teams designed to contribute
towards MYPAS aims and objectives. The key areas of focus for this role are:
1. Administrative support
2. Meeting and events support
3. Communications co-ordination including social media
4. Production of reports and resources.
The successful candidate will have experience of providing administrative support in a
service-based organisation, a good knowledge of general office procedures, excellent IT
and literacy skills, and the ability to accurately manage databases and spreadsheets.
This post may require evening and occasional weekend work.
MYPAS promotes the health and wellbeing of young people across East Lothian and
Midlothian and currently focuses on working in the areas of mental health and substance
use. MYPAS is a community-based organisation with charitable status, based in Dalkeith.
