Job Description
We have positions at Headstart nursery in Leith for practitioners and lead practitioners with all ages.
4 days per week ( 36 hours) – Salary can be discussed

We’re looking for Nursery Practitioners and room leaders with a passion for children and a desire to make a difference in the lives of young children. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing professional learning opportunities for both the students and teachers in our childcare centre. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading classroom activities, interacting with children and helping them grow in an educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Keep children safe from environmental hazards.
- Check children’s health and safety.
- Allow children to participate in learning activities.
- Document care activities.
- Maintain a safe environment for children by following safety regulations and policies.
- Observe children’s social, academic, and emotional development.
