Contract: Permanent
Hours per week: 32 hours
Pay: £8.91 per hour
Accommodation: This is a live-out post.

We are currently recruiting a Front of House/ Hostel Assistant to join our dedicated, friendly and professional team at our Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel.
About the role of Hostel Assistant:
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing first class customer experience whilst contributing to synergy in achieving network wide success.
You will provide excellent customer service through full reception service, check-in/out, assisting with guests or handling customer enquiries, in addition to support other departments as and when required. Full details of job description is available on our website.
Ideally you will have:
– Worked successfully in a customer facing role, preferably in similar hospitality surroundings with commitment to excellent customer service – Excellent, confident communication skill and ability to work as team and without supervision. – Ability to multitask with flexible and adaptable approach to work to changing workload and priorities during busy times – IT literacy and keen attention to details.

Additional Information:
– The role may involve some degree of physical activities in supporting other departments, such as activities associated with housekeeping (e.g. bed making of bunk beds with upper and lower beds). – All successful candidates are required to provide one satisfactory reference and a recent Basic Disclosure clearance – You must be able to provide an evidence of your right to work in the UK prior to starting with us.
