We are currently recruiting for Food Service Assistants to be a part of our integral team at HMS Caledonia, Hilton Road, Rosyth, KY11 2XH

- Shifts range between 6.30am – 7.30pm, Monday – Sunday

What you’ll be doing
- Required to be flexible according to business requirements. The daily focus may vary, however it is expected that activities will typically include the following:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to visitors and guests
- Food handling and basic food preparation
- Setting up counters and cleaning all areas front and back of house
- Restocking items and stock rotation
- Operating the till and cash handling
- General cleaning of front and back of house
- Sweeping/Mopping and general house keeping to ensure areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times.
- Preparation of any other public facing areas as required
- Undertake relevant training as required of all aspects of the role, including working towards your Food Hygiene Level 2 and Health and Safety Level 2 qualifications.
Experience
- Previous food service experience is essential
- Friendly, polite and motivated
- Level 2 food hygiene certificate or willing to obtain via our online e-learning portal
- Reliable and flexible to shift patterns
- A DBS check and basic vetting is required
