About the role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and sensitive individuals to support a young woman with a brain injury in the East Calder area.

 

This post can be taken by either 1 person working both days or 2 people working one day each

 

You will support her with social and leisure activities at home and in the wider community, including fitness classes.  You will have the opportunity for paid shadow shifts with existing staff. You will receive supervision from a Case Manager and have direction from a specialist OT.  Mandatory and specialist training will be provided.

About you:

Essential

  • you are reliable and professional – you value honesty and discretion
  • you are friendly and approachable
  • you are flexible and you work well under pressure
  • you like dogs
  • you have a full, clean UK driving licence
  • you have your own car that you can use for work purposes

 

Preferred

  • you have experience of supporting someone with a brain injury
  • you have experience of working with people in their own homes
  • you have a love of slapstick and sarcastic humour

The company was established in 1994 and is now a successful rehabilitation and case management consultancy, working in close co-operation with the legal profession.
