Job Description
Our Nannies have fixed contracts and so this makes it tricky when we need extra cover for holidays and sickness etc. Casual Nannies are fully trained members of the team who can step in and help when this happens but this means that the hours are not guaranteed.
For this reason we do not take on people for the role who would be replying on it for their sole income, it is more of a position for people who have other commitments (another job or studying) who cannot commit to fixed hours but still want to be a part of our team.
It is important that Casual Nannies are practical and quick learners so they can be relied upon to maintain our incredibly high standards even though they may go a couple of weeks without doing a shift – you need to be able to hit the ground running and hold on to your training well. You must not mind getting your paws dirty – we definitely do not just play with cats all day. Maison de Moggy is a very small operation and we are all prepared to deal with any aspects of the job, no two days are ever the same here! Our team is very close, we are more like a family and so we only consider people who support one another in positive and constructive ways.
