Job Description
We have 12-15 Apprenticeship Opportunities working for the Natwest Bank (formerly RBS).
We are looking for the following young people: –
- 16-24 year olds
- NO Qualifications necessary
- Attracted to a Career working in Customer Service or Banking
This is an excellent opportunity with a leading financial institute. The roles that are available are full-time contracts and the salary will start at £20k minimum.
A couple of frequently asked questions/answers are below but please feel free to contact me (via my contact details below) if you have any extra questions I can help with: –
- Is the 2-week training element face to face, if so where is it delivered? – The training will be delivered online, via the platform Zoom – not face-to-face. Zoom is accessible via mobile phone, laptop and other devices but will require WIFI access.
- Is the entirety of the programme 2-weeks or is it longer – can you give an insight into the structure?There is a 2-week online training camp on Zoom. After those 2-weeks, each young person will be invited to the Natwest offices to take part in 2-days of Insight, which will follow with a “guaranteed” interview with Natwest Bank. Natwest Bank are looking to hire a minimum of 12 young people, so we are looking for 15-20 young people to start this programme.
- Is there any bursary/incentive/financial support for travel etc.? We will provide £20 for every young person to cover for their travel expenses during the 2-days of Insight, at Natwest’s offices in Gogarburn.
- Is it a guaranteed interview for those that complete and is the progression onto an apprenticeship if so at what level?– There is a guaranteed interview for anyone who makes it through the online training. The young people will progress onto a Level 4 Customer Service Apprenticeship. However, these roles are permanent with Natwest Bank and will lead onto a sustainable career for any ambitious young person on it.
