Building Brighter Futures Fund supports young people at Stage 2 of the employability pipeline to access quality work experience with top construction companies while gaining a CSCS card and achieving SCQF 3 Core skills and Employability Award.

Participants can gain: Support and funding to sit CSCS test and gain CSCS card REHIS level 5 Elementary Health and Safety Qualification SCQF level 3 Core Skills SCQF level 3 employability award Confidence building through 1:1 support and group work opportunities CV and interview skills workshop Construction site visits Work placements on local sites such as CCG and Cruden

Client group: Stage 2 Employability Pipeline, 16 to 21 year olds (Edinburgh City, Lothians and Borders) · Able to self travel to Edinburgh centre

What is provided: Support to pass CSCS test, work experience and bus/train travel and lunch reimbursed

Start date:

Duration: 8 Weeks (Continued support after course completion)

Times and days: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10am-2pm

Location: Move On Office, 7 Bakehouse Close, EH8 8DD Tuesdays and Wednesdays
