BUILDING BRIGHTER FUTURES FUND EMPLOYABILITY PROGRAMME – MOVE ON

Building Brighter Futures Fund supports young people at Stage 2 of the employability pipeline to access quality work experience with top construction companies while gaining a CSCS card and achieving SCQF 3 Core skills and Employability Award.

Participants can gain:

Support and funding to sit CSCS test and gain CSCS card.

REHIS level 5 Elementary Health and Safety Qualification.

SCQF level 3 Core Skills.

SCQF level 3 employability award.

Confidence building through 1:1 support and group work opportunities.

CV and interview skills workshop.

Construction site visits.

Work placements on local sites such as CCG and Cruden.

Client group:

Stage 2 Employability Pipeline, 16 to 21 year olds (Edinburgh City, Lothians and Borders)

·         Able to self travel to Edinburgh centre

What is provided:

Support to pass CSCS test, work experience and bus/train travel and lunch reimbursed.

Duration:

8 Weeks (Continued support after course completion)

Times and days: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10am-2pm.

Location: Move On Office, 7 Bakehouse Close, EH8 8DD
