Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and caring Nursery Practitioner to join our Arbor Green Family.
Arbor Green Nursery is a city nursery focusing its learning on the outdoors. We are located in Stockbridge, catering for children aged 0-5 years old all year round. We are a small family run nursery with a friendly homely feel. Among other things we offer the Children Yoga, Forest School and outdoor learning. We have a polytunnel where we grow a lot of our own produce that we use for snacks, the children help to plant, grow and pick the produce.
We have a full time position available and are looking HNC in childcare or equivalent qualification to register with the SSSC at practitioner level. Ideally the suitable candidate should have a passion for the outdoors and be willing to undertake further outdoor training.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with a passion for early learning in the outdoors who works well within a team. You will be responsible for providing a friendly,
caring, safe, and stimulating environment for the children in our care. Organising and Planning activities taken from the children’s interests are essential throughout each day. We are looking for someone you can bring their own skills to create their own leadership role within our extra activity program that we offer to the children.
The successful candidate will start at £9.50 per hour with a three-month probationary period. During this time you will follow and must successfully complete an Induction and Training
program. After this your pay will go up to £10.30 per hour.
