Job Description
Housekeeper.
£9.25 per hour plus a share of the staff gratuities.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeper to join the housekeeping team at Prestonfield.
Prestonfield is one of Scotland’s highest-rated hotel, holding both the AA’s supreme accolade of 5 Red stars and 5 Gold ones from VisitScotland too. As you’d expect, as part of James Thomson’s Collection, which includes the Witchery by the Castle standards are high.
Prestonfield is a high-profile destination, described as “the most glamorous hotel in town” by The Independent newspaper and as “Edinburgh’s most exciting hotel… unrivalled anywhere else in the city” by Time Out magazine.
Main Duties include:
• Cleaning and servicing 18 luxurious bedrooms and 5 suites
• Cleaning and servicing Rhubarb restaurant and all other public areas
• Deal with laundry deliveries
• Carry out turndown service
• Additional duties related to this role will also be required
Part time hours available including evenings and weekends.

All candidates should have previous experience in a hotel environment in housekeeping within a 5-star hotel.
