We are currently seeking Two Deputy Head’s or Room to support our amazing Baby and Toddler Room team and Two Early Years Practitioners to support within our Peek-a-boo Day Nursery.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £19,760.00-£22,250.00 per year

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated individuals to take advantage of this challenging and exciting opportunity. The successful candidates will have to demonstrate a genuine passion for providing the highest standards in quality childcare – strong communication skills and team-working abilities are essential.

Working under the guidance of a highly experienced manager, senior team and forward thinking Early Years Director, you will have the opportunity to develop the nursery with the team.

The successful candidate must have a good understanding of:

  • Children’s development needs and individual learning styles.
  • The importance of supporting children’s transitions.
  • The importance of maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • The importance of supporting your team’s personal and professional development.
  • The need to help children respect people of different race, ability, gender, religion and culture.
  • The importance of procedures to follow regarding Safeguarding children.

Qualifications & Training:

Minimum SVQ Level 7 or equivalent, higher level training desirable (Senior Early Years Practitioners)

Minimum SVQ Level 3 (Early Years Practitioners)

Experience:

Minimum 2 years childcare experience with previous supervisory experience a real advantage.

Knowledge:

Pre-Birth to Three.

Realising the Ambition & HGIOELC.

Planning, observations & assessment.

Critical Thinking & Creativity.

Environment as Third Teacher.

Unlocking Learning Outdoors.
