You will assist service users to live in their own homes, promoting their independence at all times. Monteith Personal Care Management is a brand new care at home provider. We aim to provide the highest possible quality of care to all of our service users, working closely with a handpicked team of well supported care workers. We know that each service user’s needs are unique, so each service user will have a person centred care plan created to meet their needs. Monteith aims to deliver the highest care at home service in North East Edinburgh.

Work Environment:

You will assist service users to live in their own homes, promoting their independence at all times, and assisting them with any duties that are becoming problematic for them. Monteith would like all their service users to enjoy a full life in their own environment with the extra support their care worker gives them.

Care workers usually work alone in the community unless they are caring alongside one of their colleagues as part of a two-carer team. Duties will vary from service user to service user, but all will have an individual care plan for you to follow.

You will be made familiar with the care plan format at your induction. Should you come across any issues that you are not completely confident about, you are encouraged to contact the manager on call and ask their advice.

We have full time and part time positions available.
