Salary: £30,563 – £36,499
Hours: 36 per week
The Council is looking to recruit a dynamic, client focused, personable and technically strong Assistant Interior Designer with previous people, design, project and contract management experience. You will be part of a growing team of Interior Designers within the in-house multi discipline design service for the Council.
You should have a degree qualification in Interior Design or related subject and hold a full membership of a related professional body.
You should also have extensive post qualification experience in Interior Design and project/contract management, as well as a proven record and ability of working as part of a professional design team. The post shall cover all aspects of contract documentation preperation, billing, certfiying contract payments and principal designer duties as part of the CDM Regulations. You should have proficient experience and working knowledge in AutoCAD & MS Office. Experience in the the use of BIM / Revit would be advantageous. You should have good communication skills both written and verbally and be able to present well as a representative of the Council.
