Careers Advice

Careers Advice

At Edinburgh College we want all our students to realise their full potential by moving onto the right career or course – either while still at College or after you have left.

The College provides a number of resources to guide you through this process. This includes Careers Advisers (employed by Skills Development Scotland) who will advise you on all aspects of career planning including CVs, preparing for interviews and career options.

The Careers Advisers at the Sighthill campus are Aneta Cairney (aneta.cairney@sds.co.uk) and Pete Hoyle (pete.hoyle@sds.co.uk). Alison Womersley (alison.womersley@sds.co.uk) is the Careers Adviser at Granton and Joy Kauffmann (joy.kauffmann@sds.co.uk) works at both our Milton Road and Midlothian campuses.

If you would like to make an appointment with the Careers Adviser at your campus please email the adviser directly.

If you have now left College you can also contact Skills Development Scotland by phoning 0131 718 2040 (Edinburgh),  0131 665 3120 (East Lothian), 0131 663 7287 (Midlothian) or 0800 917 8000 (national Helpline).
